Q: Where does CBM Training run courses?
A: CBM Training is based in Johannesburg, however we run our courses in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town. The exact venue details are sent through upon registration.
Q: Does CBM Training have offices in Durban or Cape Town?
A: CBM Training runs courses in these regions at relevant conference centres, however CBM Training is based in Johannesburg where all the necessary training arrangements are made.
Q: What type of courses does CBM Training offer?
A: CBM Training hosts short soft skills training courses ranging from Management courses to Secretarial courses, customised on-site training courses as well as PIVOTAL training.
Q: How long are the courses?
A: Our public training courses are short one or two day courses which are scheduled to run a few times per annum. On-site training can be customised according to our clients’ needs (min of 8 delegates required). PIVOTAL Training runs over a period of 8-12 months.
Q: Is CBM Training accredited?
A: CBM Training holds Full Institutional Accreditation with Services SETA – accreditation number 057.
Q: What is CBM Trainings BEE status?
A: CBM Training has a level 2 B-BBEE certificate.
Q: How do I register for a public CBM Training course?
A: You are able to book via CBM Trainings website or alternatively you can request a registration form that you will need to complete and return to CBM Training for processing. Once the booking has been processed, we will send you a confirmation email with the course details, venue map and final Tax invoice. **Please ensure you have obtained approval prior to submitting your registration form, as once it has been received and processed you have officially agreed to attend the training per our terms and conditions.
Q: What if I cannot attend a training course that I have registered for or how do I cancel a booking?
A: CBM Training needs to be notified immediately should you not be able to attend a training course that you have registered for. You may send a substitute delegate in your place (please inform us of the new name for the certificate)
You may transfer once at no charge to another course, provided you do so in writing at least 5 working days before the course. Transfers inside of 5 days will be charged a late transfer fee of 20%
You may cancel your registration, in writing, up to 10 working days before the course takes place, however, a 10% cancellation fee will be levied. Cancellations inside of 10 days will be liable for the full fee.
Q: Can CBM Training guarantee that a course will run on the date I register for?
A: CBM Training reserves the right to cancel or postpone training events due to unforeseen circumstances per the terms and conditions agreed to upon registration.
Q: What will I receive at the public CBM Training course?
A: You will receive a workbook along with a pen and note pad. At the end of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. On each day of the course, you will receive tea/coffee on arrival, mid-morning snacks and a buffet style lunch at lunch time.
Q: How would I notify CBM Training of any special dietary requirements on a booking?
A: Upon registration you need to advise us of any special requests. We order in special Halaal, Kosher and Vegan meals and therefore need to charge an additional fee of R250.00 ex vat per person per day for these options. We do request confirmation of any special requests during the week prior to the training.
Q: How can I find out how much a public CBM Training course will cost?
A: The prices are listed on the CBM Training website, CBM Training Calendar or alternatively you can request them from us.
Q: How do I get a formal quote for a course?
A: You can phone or email a request for quotation. These quotes are valid for 30 days. Please note: Receiving a quotation is NOT confirmation of registration.
Q: What if payment cannot be made prior to a public training course?
A: You can send CBM Training a Purchase Order number or alternatively you can make arrangements with us. Please note that once your registration has been received and processed, you have officially agreed to attend the training per our terms and conditions. We do not confirm registrations purely upon receipt of payment.
Q: I would like to send my staff on a training course, is there a group discount?
A: Depending on numbers and availability we could arrange a discount to be applied for our public courses. Should you have a group of 8 or more delegates, we can arrange on-site training.
